I'm back! (My future plans + a new invitation line...)

Stacey Stephens

Hi friends,

I'm officially jumping back into design after eight weeks off to celebrate the arrival of our precious baby boy, Henry Anderson Stephens. He came early on June 29th and the past two months have been such a joy. (If you want to see a few more photos, be sure you're following along on Instagram where I share some behind-the-scenes peeks of my new little helper).

November/December 2018 Brides: assuming your invitations are underway, now is the time to start thinking about day-of details. Now booking for welcome cards, guest bags, programs, and reception signage.

2019 Brides: I'm now booking 2019 weddings and would love to chat with you if you're a bride-to-be and ready to talk wedding stationery! Shoot me a message or book a consultation today to get started.

And for everyyyyyone else: I'm now offering a semi-custom line of wedding shower invitations! After hosting *many* a shower myself, I realized that finding a cute, affordable, and easy-to-create invitation was way too complicated. I've designed four invites with you in mind and will take care of everything--the final design, the printing, and the shipping--so you can get back to party planning. The new line is available now in our online shop!

I can't decide which design I like best, so we'll have to wait and see what y'all think, and as orders start to come in, I'll let you know which seems to be the best seller. In the meantime, I'd love to hear feedback from you on the customization process during checkout, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thanks friends!

Andrea & Patrick Bird / Augusta, Georgia Wedding

Stacey Stephens

Remember this save the date I shared late last year, for the black & white Southern wedding that was coming up in April in Augusta, Georgia?

If we did our job correctly, then this save the date set the tone for a classic, jaw dropping, black tie affair.

My parents and Andrea's parents were besties back in the 80s, before either of us were around. My family moved to Texas shortly before I was born, but we grew up spending weekends in the south with the Griffins, at the lake, or camping in the mountains.

It was so much fun to work with Andrea & Angie on details for Andrea's big day--including wedding programs and guest bag details. Now on to the fun stuff: pictures of all these gorgeous details!

Serious question: have you EVER seen prettier florals!? I love Andrea's choice of classic black for her bridesmaids' dresses, and Angie's beautiful pop of blue.

Congrats to the newlyweds! Loved working with you, Andrea and Patrick!

Thistle & Gold: Atlanta Styled Shoot

Stacey Stephens

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of vendors for a styled shoot in late March and am so excited to share these images with you.

A big thank you to Lexi Scott of Indigo Tidwell for planning and photographing the shoot!

When Lexi shared that she wanted the stationery & paper goods to be a soft blue gray I was in -- it's always my favorite color combination. I love how it contrasts here with the bold colors in the cake and floral arrangements.

Art Deco Wedding: Evan & Andrew Barrett / Greenville, South Carolina

Stacey Stephens

Hi friends! It's been a [long] while. All is well in my corner of the world--we're in full on preparation mode for Baby Boy Stephens who is due two months from today!

In the meantime, I'm excited to share a series of behind the scenes shots of styled shoots and real weddings that I've been a part of over the past few months. I'm starting with my very favorite - shots from my best friend's wedding back in October last year.

Evan styled the entire wedding herself. She's a fashionista, a makeup artist, a designer, an event guru... all things perfect for cooking up a truly beautiful wedding. She and her man Andrew (both fellow Clemson grads) tied the knot in Greenville at Revel Event Center. I was honored to design their stationery and day-of paper products and work with a real dream team to bring this vision to life.

Evan - you are a beauty and a joy to everyone around you!

Evan's latest venture is blogging, where she, along with Aubrey, her younger sister (read: the home + design expert, mama, wife, and advice-giver) share their latest life hacks. Check them out over on Paired Style. (Yes, their weekly emails are one of the few subscribed emails I actually get around to reading...)
