Andrea & Patrick Bird / Augusta, Georgia Wedding

Stacey Stephens

Remember this save the date I shared late last year, for the black & white Southern wedding that was coming up in April in Augusta, Georgia?

If we did our job correctly, then this save the date set the tone for a classic, jaw dropping, black tie affair.

My parents and Andrea's parents were besties back in the 80s, before either of us were around. My family moved to Texas shortly before I was born, but we grew up spending weekends in the south with the Griffins, at the lake, or camping in the mountains.

It was so much fun to work with Andrea & Angie on details for Andrea's big day--including wedding programs and guest bag details. Now on to the fun stuff: pictures of all these gorgeous details!

Serious question: have you EVER seen prettier florals!? I love Andrea's choice of classic black for her bridesmaids' dresses, and Angie's beautiful pop of blue.

Congrats to the newlyweds! Loved working with you, Andrea and Patrick!

Thistle & Gold: Atlanta Styled Shoot

Stacey Stephens

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of vendors for a styled shoot in late March and am so excited to share these images with you.

A big thank you to Lexi Scott of Indigo Tidwell for planning and photographing the shoot!

When Lexi shared that she wanted the stationery & paper goods to be a soft blue gray I was in -- it's always my favorite color combination. I love how it contrasts here with the bold colors in the cake and floral arrangements.

Art Deco Wedding: Evan & Andrew Barrett / Greenville, South Carolina

Stacey Stephens

Hi friends! It's been a [long] while. All is well in my corner of the world--we're in full on preparation mode for Baby Boy Stephens who is due two months from today!

In the meantime, I'm excited to share a series of behind the scenes shots of styled shoots and real weddings that I've been a part of over the past few months. I'm starting with my very favorite - shots from my best friend's wedding back in October last year.

Evan styled the entire wedding herself. She's a fashionista, a makeup artist, a designer, an event guru... all things perfect for cooking up a truly beautiful wedding. She and her man Andrew (both fellow Clemson grads) tied the knot in Greenville at Revel Event Center. I was honored to design their stationery and day-of paper products and work with a real dream team to bring this vision to life.

Evan - you are a beauty and a joy to everyone around you!

Evan's latest venture is blogging, where she, along with Aubrey, her younger sister (read: the home + design expert, mama, wife, and advice-giver) share their latest life hacks. Check them out over on Paired Style. (Yes, their weekly emails are one of the few subscribed emails I actually get around to reading...)

Erin's Wedding: 7.8.17

Stacey Stephens

My baby sis got married to the very best guy on a beautiful, blue sky day in July. It was perfect in every way and-- I don't say this lightly --the most fun wedding I've ever been to. Hope you enjoy a bit of Katelyn Vines' amazing photography below!

It was so special designing her invitations, programs and welcome bag goodies. My mom and I had the best time planning for out of town friends. I loved the chance to show off Atlanta to those that don't call it home!

A few favorites:

Erin's vendor team was a serious dream team. It was SO fun to work with friends and fellow vendors that I've gotten to know in the wedding world in Atlanta.

A 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Stacey Stephens

My grandparents, Barbara and Gerry Rosenlund, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in February. To celebrate, they invited our family to spend a weekend at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. They went all out: a black tie dinner was planned in the Champagne Cellar, complete with a wedding cake and toasts from family.

I had the honor of creating invitations for the event, and had so much fun working in secret with my grandmother, MorMor, to surprise everyone else. I brought the materials for the place cards, and she wrote each one by hand that weekend.

They weren't the only ones with a few surprises, though. My cousins and I put our heads together and thought about how to best remember the evening. We landed on photography - capturing these memories forever - and knew we had to get our life-long friend, might-as-well-be-family Jodi Grandholm Bodtke involved. Jodi, the mastermind behind Giving Tree Photography, was the photographer at our own wedding, and we knew it would mean so much to MorMor and FarFar to have her there to capture the evening.

She flew in from Chicago and surprised the group at breakfast on Saturday morning. Her photos, below, speak for themselves:

MorMor and FarFar's wedding invitation beside the invitation I designed for their 60th Wedding Anniversary weekend.

It was a weekend that we'll cherish forever, celebrating a love that has truly lasted a lifetime.
